Our pads, belts and stabilizing cushions are individually manufactured for us in the Industrienäherei Sachsen (ISA). The different parts are sewn together and provided with a quilted seam. The cover fabric CAPRI from nuvant has been specially developed for contact with the skin and is biocompatible according to DIN EN ISO 10993-5, 1999-11 and particularly skin-friendly and has the OEKO-TEX® label. The special artificial leather also uses Sanitized® Actifresh and is therefore insensitive to odours, it is resistant to disinfection and urine and is extremely hard-wearing with >400,000 abrasion cycles.

Comparison: Fabrics with 40,000 abrasion cycles are recommended for fabrics in public environments with very heavy use. The abrasion cycles are specified in DIN EN ISO 12947-2.

The material is flame retardant according to DIN EN 1021 1/2 and the colors comply with the light fastness level of DIN EN ISO 105-B02 higher than 6. These are all factors that guarantee you that the product not only looks beautiful, but also withstands the highest standards of durability and hygiene.

Speaking of looking good: You are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing the colour of the upholstery. Colours have an effect through their visual impression – but almost more so through associations. Even children are taught to stand by RED (mindfulness) and walk by GREEN (safety). In addition, there is a cultural, a religious imprint and the upbringing. In the Catholic Church, purple is the colour of silence and reflection, of conversion and penance. Green is the color of Islam, which is directly mentioned in the Koran. In therapy, colors are used for basal stimulation. Colored washcloths, cloths and food have a positive effect on the patient. The human body reacts unconsciously to colours – physiologically and psychologically – this leads to reactions. How these reactions turn out, however, is very individual.
