A Mobilizer combines the functions of a couch, a mobilization chair, a mobilization wheelchair and a modern standing trainer. Mobilizer are continuously adjustable between a lying and sitting position as well as position-independent in height. The seat and lying surface can be adjusted continuously to the body length.
The seat adjustment (length compensation) developed and patented by us minimizes the usual shear forces in the back and buttocks of patients in bed and in so-called “mobilization and rehabilitation wheelchairs”. Whether for circulation training, improving vigilance, prolonged weaning, for a first swallow attempt or in delirium management, the individual positioning of those affected in the Mobilizer and its functionality make mobilization safe.

Mobilizers are infinitely adjustable between a lying and a sitting position as well as in height independent of position. The sitting and lying surface can be continuously adjusted to the body length.

Mobilizer Medior moves immobile patients with a body weight of up to 250 kg* from lying to sitting to standing. The movements into therapeutically useful positions are smooth and stepless.

Description
- Mobilizer® MEDIOR is manoeuvrable and agile. With its four castors that can be turned and swivelled through 360°, it can be used optimally even in small rooms. A centrally operated brake and castor system make Mobilizer® MEDIOR a safe helper.
The working height is individually adjustable to the user. The height adjustment works in any position. This ensures ergonomic working procedures and provides the positive psychological aspect: the patient is “at eye level” with his environment.
With the “Soft GO and STOP” function of the control system developed by us, all four battery-operated servomotors (protection class III according to BGV A3) always start very slowly and stop just as gently. This ensures a safe feeling for the patient.
The control of the movement is literally completely in the hands of the user. The mobilisation of the patient is always under the control of the nurses and therapists.
Our patented development of a so-called length compensation ensures that the patient does not slip on the Mobilizer® MEDIOR when raising the upper body from lying to sitting. There are no shearing forces, no friction, which would promote the development of pressure sores. Users no longer have to position and support patients in Mobilizer® MEDIOR because they have slipped forward.
Mobilizer® MEDIOR is infinitely adjustable to body heights of 155 -190 cm. With the electric footrest adjustment, the leg length can be corrected in any lying, sitting or standing position.
With the holding systems and pads developed by experienced therapists and nurses in practice, patients are comfortably secured in Mobilizer® MEDIOR. They are simple and intuitive.
Therapists and caregivers are flexible when positioning and positioning patients on Mobilizer® MEDIOR. Whether for positioning a COPD patient to facilitate breathing or a sedating reclining chair position in delirium management. A Mobilizer® MEDIOR makes (almost) all therapeutically useful positioning of a patient possible.
Barrier-free patient transfer with a rollboard is possible at any time, even in a “supine” position. The armrests and side stabilisers can be folded away completely.
Comfortable and pressure-relieving cushions made of viscoelastic foam ensure a good feeling, even when sitting for longer periods.
All upholstery covers, as well as support systems and therapeutic pads can be wipe-disinfected with RKI*-listed disinfectants (*Robert Koch Institute).
All pads, covers and elements of the support system are individually replaceable and can be replaced by our upholstery and sewing department.
With a choice of nine upholstery colours, we build your Mobilizer® MEDIOR to match the colour concept of your clinic and department.
Vibration therapy and verticalisation
Vibratory stimulation in the treatment of intensive care patients and in early neurological rehabilitation
In 2014, Prof. Dr. Stefan Hesse* had the idea to equip the Mobilizer® MEDIOR with a vibrating footstep.
Severely affected patients in intensive care units generally have a very high risk of CIP/CIM, muscle atrophies and osteoporosis. In addition, it has long been known that vibratory stimulation can positively influence vigilance, neuroplasticity and muscle tone.
A vibratory stimulation of the patients would enormously strengthen the positive effect of an early mobilisation into the upright position (verticalisation).
Together with Prof. Dr. Hesse, we subsequently developed a vibration unit for the Mobilizer® MEDIOR for basal stimulation of severely affected patients without trunk control. Learn more

THE BASIC MOBILIZER
Mobilizer Norbert
With the Mobilizer NORBERT, caregivers move an immobile patient with a body weight of up to 250 kg* from a lying position to a stable sitting position. The movements are smooth, ergonomic, comfortable and safe.
The Mobilizer NORBERT is the “BASIS Mobilizer”. An ideal partner for nursing staff in care facilities and clinics for mobilising immobile patients from bed.

The movements of Mobilizer® NORBERT are carried out slowly and gently by two battery-operated servomotors (protection class III according to BGV A3). This ensures a safe feeling for the patient. On request, you can also have the length of the foot step adjusted by an electric motor.
If desired, we can also build the Mobilizer® NORBERT manually adjustable for you. Mobilizer® NORBERT is then operated hydromechanically by means of a pump lever (adjustment of the working height) and for seat positioning by means of a release bracket for the gas pressure spring.
